What is an Appeal?
An appeal is when you ask for a decision to be reviewed, such as:
- Assessment results
- Course admissions
- Refund decisions
- Complaint outcomes
- Other administrative decisions
Our Commitment to You
We will:
- Handle your appeal fairly and without bias
- Keep your information confidential
- Allow you to present your case
- Keep you enrolled during the process
- Resolve appeals as quickly as possible
How to Lodge an Appeal
- Submit your appeal in writing (form, email, or letter)
- Within 30 days of the decision
- Include:
- Decision being appealed
- Reasons for appeal
- Supporting evidence
You will receive acknowledgement within 7 days
What Happens Next?
Assessment Appeals
- Reviewed by a different (independent) assessor
- The new result is final
Other Appeals
- Reviewed by management
- You may be asked for more information
- You will receive a written outcome explaining the decision
Timeframes:
- Usually within 30 days
- Up to 60 days for complex cases
