Course Content

The SA Sales Representative course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and requirements for undertaking real estate sales in South Australia. Below is a breakdown of the key learning areas included in the course:

  • Understanding the laws and ethical standards that govern real estate practices and professionals in the industry.
  • Defining the roles and responsibilities of individuals involved in selling and managing properties, including employment obligations.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of property transactions and essential agency functions.

  • Learn the fundamentals of handling trust accounts in real estate, including accuracy and legal compliance.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with property sellers and buyers.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.

  • Understand how to support clients through each stage of the property transaction.

  • Ensure client needs are met while aligning with agency policies and legal obligations.

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote properties for sale.

The practical workshops included with this course are designed fully compliment the core training requirements provided via the online student portal and provide hands-on experience that will better equip students with real-world skills for entering the real estate industry. 

The SA Sales Representative Course includes full access to the following face-to-face workshops provided by Adelaide Real Estate Academy and delivered at their training facility.

Attendance of these workshops are not a mandatory requirement for the successful completion of this course.

Training and Assessment

Please see the workshop calendar for available workshThe core requirements of this course are delivered and assessed via our online Student Portal and allows you to study at your own pace. We provide up to 18 months from the enrolment date to complete your studies and all assessments via the online student portal. However, the flexible structure of our course means that you can finish much sooner if you have more time to dedicate to your studies.op dates and times, students are required to complete a workshop enrolment for each workshop being attended.

Attendance of these workshops are not a mandatory requirement for the successful completion of this course.

All required training and assessments are completed through our online Student Portal. This is where you’ll find all your learning materials, resources and assessments. The Student Portal contains everything you need to successfully complete your course requirements.

Practical workshops

The practical workshops included with this course are designed to provide hands-on experience and better equip students with real-world skills for entering the real estate industry.  These workshops fully compliment the core training requirements provided via the online student portal but are not a mandatory requirement for the successful completion of this course.

Enrolment Requirements

There are no pre-requisites required for this course, although before embarking on your dynamic real estate career there are a few basic requirements.

The Australian Government requires that all students enrolled in nationally recognised training must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). You must provide your USI upon enrolment, as we cannot issue your Statement of Attainment without a verified USI. If you need to check or create your USI, you can easily do so at www.usi.gov.au or contact our Student Support Team for assistance.

To be able to complete this course you must have proficiency in English and numeracy at Australian Year 10 level or equivalent. Students will be required to satisfactorily complete an LLN assessment or provide evidence of their English proficiency prior to commencing this course.

Adelaide Real Estate Training is committed to assisting students with specific LLN needs and can provide specialist support for students requiring assistance.

This course is completed via our online student portal and access to the following will be required.

Computer or Tablet for accessing online learning materials and undertake assessments.

Suitable Internet connection (Broadband or 5G recommended).

Web Browser software (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari).

To undertake this course, it is recommended that students be 18 years of age or older.

Upon successful completion of all assessments and course requirements for each unit, students will receive a Statement of Attainment detailing the units completed. This document is required by CBS when applying for a South Australian real estate Sales Representative Registration.

Upon satisfactory completion of this course students will achieve the qualifications required to apply for a Sales Representative’s Registration to work as a real estate sales representative in South Australia.

State legislation requires that to work as a real estate sales representative in South Australia you must:
Meet eligibility requirements as set out by Consumer and Business Services (CBS)
Hold a current South Australia real estate Sales Representative Registration with CBS
Be employed by a Registered Land Agent
Be at least 18 years of age or above

Adelaide Real Estate Academy offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to all students. RPL is an assessment process that acknowledges the skills and knowledge you’ve gained through previous education, training, work, and life experiences.
